MARIA ISA'S VALLEY OF THE DOLLS
Maria Isa's music has received much critical acclaim using her talent to create social change and labeling her as a woman proud of her Latina heritage. Her recent solo project Valley of the Dolls includes production led by Andrew Bergen and Bobby Raps where Isa expresses a mature sound of Latin Soul twisting R&B, Pop, heavy percussion and hip-hop lyricism. The 10 tracked album kick's off with the introduction Maruca (produced by Dan Comerchero) takes you on a joyride through a journey of love, dedication, and crossroads of activism with songs like Sabotage, Steve Jobs, Down For Whateva, Dulce along with the club hit Bobby Canavale produced by Doug Louiselle of the WHALE/S.
Performances on the album include Dante Pedro, Muja Messiah and Maria's mother human rights activist Elsa Vega-Perez.
Musician credits presents the groove of Camilo Molina (LP21, Eddie Palmieri Orchestra), Truthmaze, Trevor Peterson (Tickle Torture), Charles Miles, Drew Lerdal, Bomba Umoya and Onayemi.
